FAQS
Do you work on straighter, finer hair? Absolutely. I"ve made it a personal mission to be knowledgeable and able to work with ANY texture.

Can I bring someone else to my appointment? No. My appointments are one on one, EXTRA people are not allowed (including children). Please make your appointment when YOU are available. In the event that you do bring EXTRA people, your appointment will be canceled.

Can you squeeze me in for braids? No. Braids must be scheduled by appointment ONLINE.
BOOKING

If your appointment is not in my calendar, we don’t have an appointment. If you do not go to www.daystarsbeauty.com, click on “book an appointment,” pay your deposit (if applicable) to secure your spot, confirm you have received a confirmation email, then you do not have an appointment.

Once you have recieved a confirmation email, you will be sent a detailed invoice; due the day of your appointment (can be paid prior to appointment if desired).

All appointments will need to be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

CONTACT
Don't hesitate to reach out! However, if it is during normal work hours, Tuesday -Friday 10am-7pm and Saturday 9am-6pm, I may be working on someone’s hair. I don’t make it a habit in checking my phone while I am with a client, so that I can give my undivided attention and respect to each of my clients. Please be patient. If I don’t respond right away, I will get back to you asap. I apologize in advance for delayed replies! If you're in a pinch AND I don't have any slots available ONLINE, you can always TEXT 559 704 6641 to see if there are any last minute slots available.

DEPOSIT
DEPOSIT AMOUNT VARIES

The deposit will be put toward the total cost of your appointment.

If your appointment is cancelled due to extreme tardiness, late rescheduling, or no-show, the deposit you placed for your appointment is forfeited. Deposits are non-transferrable to future appointments. You will be required to place a new deposit for your next appointment.
PENALTIES

Your appointment will most likely be cancelled if you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your appointment. This is because there may be people who have an appointment after yours, and it is not fair to them or me.

If you are a "no-call no-show," unfortunately all future appointments will be dismissed. Communication in any relationship is key; a simple text or call goes a long way.
RESCHEDULING

If you need to reschedule your appointment, no problem! Just reschedule 24 hours before your appointment (the sooner the better). You can do this by going back to your confirmation email and using the rescheduling link. Unfortunately, if you are unable to reschedule 24 hours in advance, your deposit will be forfeited and not applicable to your new appointment.
RETURNS
There will be no refunds processed on any purchases from DAYSTAR'S BEAUTY. In the event that a product (NOT INCLUDING HAIR) is determined to be defective (upon investigation), a replacement will be sent out.
SHIPPING
All orders purchased before 5pm EST will be mailed the following day.
DISCLAIMER
By booking an appointment online at www.daystarsbeauty.com, I authorize Markeya DayStar to perform hair extensions services and other cosmetic services, including but not limited to, hair color, hair cutting, and other chemical services or treatments on my natural hair and on my extensions at the time of my scheduled hair appointment and in all future hair appointments. I understand the proper at-home care that is to be done for my natural hair and my extensions. By booking online, I waive my right to hold Markeya Daystar, DAYSTAR'S BEAUTY, or any party associated with the named parties legally liable for any damage or hair breakage to my natural hair or my hair extensions, or for any undesired results.
